A private drum tutor since his mid-teens, Drumcademy founder Jon has over 15 years of teaching experience on hand to develop a student's ability from beginner to advanced levels. Having toured worldwide, he knows the ins and outs of the industry. He teaches with the same enjoyment and enthusiasm he had when he first picked up a pair of drumsticks as a child. Jade is an incredibly enthusiastic teacher who specialises in younger students and beginners. She has the patience of a saint and the teaching skills to match! Andy has years of experience as a touring and session drummer and brings those skills to the teaching studio. Students tend to progress incredibly quickly when he's at the helm.

Drumcademy was first imagined back in 2014 when Jon had the idea to create a drum school that would listen to the needs of its students and not force a particular curriculum or lesson plan upon them. Instead, Drumcademy was created to put the power back into the hands of the learner, offering innovative new ways to learn to play the oldest instrument in the world.

Students can choose to learn in a way that suits them - would you choose to follow an academic route and learn to read music notation alongside a graded syllabus? Or would you prefer to skip written music altogether and learn to play your favourite songs by ear, developing your skills along the way? The choice is yours!
